I tried trawling his feed, did searches for "work", " video", "content", and all I ever saw was TDS and reposting boomer facebook memes. If he's said anything to the effect, it's hidden in some random reply.

There was a tweet from a while back about it so that could be it, but I feel like it's been long enough without content (even his shitty vidya streams seem to have been neglected) that he would have felt the need to make excuses about it.

Either way, the fatness of this faggot is truly obscene. I hate how fat this guy is.

I think 'Fascist' (in the traditional sense like ACE1918 uses here) closely describes Dev's statist ideal, but not exactly, since I don't think the term takes into account his embrace of globohomo.
I'll suggest we call this 'Maple Fascism' after his Canadian origin, and propose the following definition:
Maple Fascism:
(n) A system of government marked by centralization of authority under an un-elected or appointed bureaucracy, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of inclusive nationalism and anti-racism to prevent the rise of a dictator.

Basically, Maple Fascism is giving all power to an un-elected system of bureaucrats to safeguard "democracy", manage universal healthcare, and import illegals to give gibs to. The bureaucrat has the power to override the will of the people if they think they chose poorly.

To be fair, I do think Facist fits him better since his ideal of the state doing things doesnt seem to extend to an international level. To be full commie, he has to come out and say "EVERY ONE ON EARTH MUST LIVE THIS WAY!" As to where I think he'd be ok with the Mexicans just murdering themselves in an orgy of drug fueled violence and farm slave labor for cheap food.
