I am so ready to witness the olympic levels of mental gymnastics Dev will try and use to make a "both sides" or even better, a "Trudeau was right" opinion out of it.

I am calling it now: he might just find a way to tie Russia to it, as some Liberal Party politicians did when it originally happened.

Other stupidity he might try and pull: Mentioning Diagolon as a serious element (a complete meme of a organization who only got any attention because of Canadian government funded anti-hate NGO throwing a spergout about it being a threat like Canadian Patriot Front / Proud Boys), making false equivalency between random drunks in the protest and literal uniformed police officers under orders, and of course he will pull some bullshit to justify why the freezing of bank accounts was fine.

In the end he will please no one, come off as dishonest, and smell his own farts.

Given the hole he's dug himself in with Ruby Ridge and has branded himself as a 'based authoritarian' he'll absolutely come out in favor of Trudeau's actions. In fact, I'll wager he'll say Trudeau didn't go far enough.
