If you're getting off the pot, do you at least know whether any of the contributors have anything on Dev that hasn't already come up in the thread? The only tidbits Scrump offered were the fact that Dev got fucked up the ass (anybody could guess that just by looking at him) and the dump truck story that Dev was happy enough to reveal himself when this thread was first made.

Every time he posted anything in Mauler's stream after Ace's stream started, people called him out for ducking, at least from what I saw. He largely ignored them, but he did respond to me (because he can't help himself), instead accusing Ace of being a stalker.

I should make one thing clear, I'm imposing a pretty high standard for excellence. I want a lengthy, detailed expose`. If you get to me with something about as substantial as what ACE puts out to keep channel interest up, I'll politely, but firmly tell you to find help elsewhere. Ask Aydin or Scrump for screenshots, comb through the twitter archives, don't take up a ton of run time with Nostalgia Critic skits, you know the drill. Put your back into it. I ask nothing less.

Edit: Spend some money on a halfway decent mic too if you don't have one already. If you want advice on what to look for, you could look at the behringer XM8700 and plug it into whatever used interface you can find on ebay, or there's the Fifine AM8 which is a cheap-ish USB mic that at least doesn't suck ass for this purpose (it has the natural nose rejection of a dynamic microphone, and as a dynamic, it already has a more radio-ish sounding tone. Which sucks for more general use, but is ideal for narration recording).

Well, the thing we would really need to do is make a time line of things. Once you have a decent time line of his major shit, writting a script becomes almost trivial.

I wanted to do one on Scrump, the retarded bastard, but was stopped by the fact I'd have to be sourcing everything myself.

With Dev on the other hand we have almost the opposite issue. Near 400 pages of info out sourcing. Does anyone know some way to turn this thread into just one large text document? Aside from manually copy pasting every page? Get a .txt going and it'll still be work but it goes from almost hurculean to simply a big pain.
 
Yeah. Completely unsurprising that Dev Ducked out. Dev needs complete control of whatever environment he's in before he comits to anything.

That said, his near total radio silence indicates that he could be a bit peeved at the circumstance. (though he will deny if asked directly) This whole affair undercuts his "victory" from his own "debate."
 
I told Ace before his stream that Dev was going to duck. Now he's going to play retarded, pretend he never actually agreed to that specific debate in the first place, and come up with some convoluted "technicality" that excuses his actions.

The problem is a lot of the info comes from screenshots and video links. A text crawler would only grab the commentary.

While true, the caveat here is that any excuse he makes regarding Ace's debate also applies to his own. And he knows it, given his actions thus far. He can't have his cake and eat it this time. Either he claims victory by default in his debate, and consequently giving Ace the win in his. Or he makes excuses to invalidate Ace's win, invalidating his own win in the process.

It's a lose-lose situation for him.

It's as I said, Ace's debate challenge took the wind out of Dev's sails. Either Dev denied Ace legitimacy thereby denying his own, or he defended his own win thereby defending Ace's. Any attempt to maneuver his debate as a win AND deny Ace legitimacy would be hypocritical and doomed to fail.

It appears he has chosen the former.

Biases aside, a decent sales pitch for Liberalism. And not a bad summation of it's intended functions. The problem, and what he glossed over "for other videos" is the major flaws of Liberalism that are very relevant in recent history. Namely, this shit doesn't work if there is no faith in the system or completely blind faith.

Without trust, everything breaks down as no one can count on the systems for anything. Case and point, Portland let acquitted a homeless man of murder by stabbing simply because the victim said the N word. Racial politics trumped rule of law. On the flip side, blind faith in the system results in infiltration, resulting in the system being usurbed and torn down from within. Such as is the intention with the heavy Islamic immigration in the UK.

We need people to build back trust in society for liberalism to work and that's probably the one thing the Left and Right both don't have: Trust in the system.
