I looked into the story more. Asian guy building it. Claims he had all the paper work in order and that he got clearance from the city. So either he's lying, the city rubber stamped this hunk of insanity, or he described one thing to the city and built another. But, what is factual is that it's way too close to the property line which is a fire hazard. If you look at the structure, it looks like its shaped pretty explicitly to come as close to the limits as possible without violating it. So it looks like he probably described it poorly and the city signed off without looking at it.

In terms of policy, Trump is still frustratingly moderate. It's still only year, so I'm willing to wait and see. But, I really wanted to see a massive downsizing in the government work force, and a big cut to taxes alongside it. That still hasn't happened, he's flirted with the idea, but I'm crying foul until it's done.

The only thing I can really say, for sure, I'm positive on is the deportations. And even then, you still have the H1B issue.
