Most fetishes don't make sense. Asking why people like them is a futile effort that will end with you being either thoroughly confused, or thoroughly disturbed. Probably both.

Yeah, I just thought it was worth at least asking. I've made fun of fetishes before and got screamed at for not "understanding" it, so at least you can't say I didn't make an effort.

Many fetishes can be traced back to some cartoon the the person watched as a kid, or other event that stuck with them into adulthood. Famous DA inflation fetishist, Axlegrease-75(formerly MikeMedia) loved an old Disney cartoon, where Goofy gets inflated with water. Furries often say they grew up watching Lion King and Robin Hood. The list goes on.

Other fetishes, like BDSM and vore, are leftover power/submission instincts passed on from our simian ancestors.

I think this can apply to almost anything.

People are composed of their experiences combined with their primal instincts.

True, but it's one of those fetishes where I don't even get why it's sexual at all, much less a fetish.

Most fetishes, even if I find them gross or whatever, I at least understand why someone might be into them.

Pretty sure the artist can't draw spin brushes for shit if they turn out to look like instruments of killing. Also that first picture in that spoiler, isn't Asuna supposed to look like/be a 14 year old or something?

To be fair, aside from the visible nipples, it wouldn't be that out of place in the actual manga.
