DA does have guidelines (no underage, no IRL porn) but they are only enforced when people get reported, and hardly anyone does that.

Even when art is reported the staff is notorious for not giving a shit. The only times they really take things down is when they either don't like the subject or the artist in question, even when it's within guidelines.

It's crushing/face-sitting. The circle is a zoom-in of the ass and the pointed bit is trying to indicate where it is occuring. I have no idea why they had so little space on the lower part of the image to show all of this.

I've merged this with the DeviantArt Horrors thread.Introduction:
Raven/Microwbird, also known as Raven Nicole Honda Welch, is proof that furries who still use DeviantArt in 2019 are a special breed of exceptional. Her art has barely improved since 2016, and she often uses her art as a vehicle to express her plant, slime, and egg kinks. She used to be in a poly relationship, and claims to identify as agender, demisexual, and panromantic.

Barely needs any explanation. It’s mediocre, and it has been for years. She suffers from extreme same-face and same-pose syndrome. Here is a comparison between her art from 2016 and her art from 2019.
She's also drawn NSFW stuff before as well.
Many of these NSFW themes also extend into her SFW art as well. (Her follower base is made up of young teenagers.)

The thing about photo manipulation is that when you do anything drastic it’s easy to fall into uncanny valley. Anything human or animal always falls into this if they have any major photo editing done to them. It’s why photomorphs (essentially people photoshopped into furries) almost always look off. Plenty of people can draw, paint, and model anthro characters realistically and they’ll look fine, mind you. Look at games like the Elder Scrolls, and nobody says that races like the Khajitt fall into that (unless it’s Oblivion, in which everyone falls into uncanny valley). It’s photo manipulation. It never looks natural if you take it beyond touch-ups. Instead it just feels creepy because it’s real enough, but not familiar. The pictures you showed are great examples of this effect.
