Here's something that, while not necessarily a "horror" or poorly made. Makes you wonder "Why put all your time and effort into doing this?" I found this one day while looking for new models for Blender.

As I said, it's not poorly made (and speaking as a Blender user, I've seen much worse). Nor is it something horrifying. But it's just so much wasted effort put on display here. Oh and here's where I originally found the model: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/76558

honestly if it wasn't MLP related, i would think it looks pretty cool. everything looks pretty good there, like a neat wallpaper, but it's MLP...
 
Welp... I made it through all 109 pages of this topic, and I don't think any sort of eye bleach will cleanse my mind of what I have seen.

So I feel that it's only fair that I contribute something in return for the madness you guys have gone through!

This particular person has been harping on about his Dexter's Laboratory/Avatar crossover thing for literally YEARS. That, and he draws like a goddamn five year old and hasn't improved since day 1, it's quite disturbing, especially because he's in his late 20s, and has a thing for Lee Lee, too. :/

Unless it was a request or really just done for the sake of it, it is a wasted effort on the account that something better could of been made (plus, would it be bad to say that Blender may of have better renders than this, since really, better renders could make this look amateurish?).

Yep. He pops up quite often in the Dexter's Lab tag on tumblr, copying and pasting the same post about his terrible crossover idea over and over. It's really annoying.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm A - Logging here, now, but... Sigh... What a waste of fucking talent - anyone can draw that. Anyone who has the skill to do something on this level should be designing something productive for society. Not... this. This guy can get back to me when they decide to DO SOMETHING ORIGINAL.

Not saying I've seen better (I have) but there's so much out there that's worse, like this one for example:

But people who make pony art and are as talented as they are, should be able to something that isn't pony related. But alas, they do this because they like the ponies. And as far as I know, this was done out of choice. And he has plans to do the others down the line. I also happened to break my code of "Never post on Pony art" by saying he did a good job. But it wasn't due to the fact that it was pony related- Blender is seriously missing out on quality looking models, as the above (Spoilered) picture proves.

That is another point to consider. I mean sure, it's nice they make pony fan art but with skill like that, they could do something like, make models that are fan-arts to other things or even make their own original model and I mean something that is their own work that isn't some MLP or Sonic OC. Still, considering Blender, I honestly wouldn't want to see a 3-D polygonal horror of creepy fetishes posted on DA.

Hell, just search up Poser3D, this shit's the tip of the iceberg. At least with Blender, all you'd have to worry about are those with a lack of knowledge.

(That last one might not be a fetish picture, but it does contain some rather unfortunate implications).

Gundam model kit, it's a term fans of the franchise that collect these use. It's more a general term for those kits, popularized by two Gundam series in particular- Build Fighters and its sequel Try.

I can understand your confusion though, I can't blame you for that. Oh, and the first image is broken.

It's meant to be the final page in an erotic squirrel hand puppet transformation sequence, I would show the whole thing but I feel that it would be too much for all our brains to handle (there are 8 pages of this crappy sequence. 8 OF THEM).
