Because they think that a shy and quiet person is more likely to give in to whatever they want, assuming for the sake of argument they're applying their preferences in people to the ponies. It's creepy.

I can see two things wrong here:

1. That blue car is clearly going through a period.
2. K.I.T.T got his sex education from Tommy Wiseau.

She's shy, weak and likes animals. In other words, the perfect sperg companion text to Twilight Sparkle and the "lesponies" (RD and AJ).
