The Chud-to-Tranny pipeline is real.I was informed by certified chuds in the boomer shooter thread that Peripetia was based and chudpilled. Was it all a lie? Were the chuds actually trannies all along?
There's been a lot of good remakes but obviously it depends on your personal opinion.Has there been a single good remake at this point for the last 10 years?
Everything seems to be absolute shit nowadays.
I just don't remember buying any remake and saying "Wow, man" it's not like things are better on original IPs either, bought a 13900ks and 4090 2 years ago and there's already no fucking games left to playThere's been a lot of good remakes but obviously it depends on your personal opinion.
Bloober team is a pretty good studio that puts some effort into their remakes, like System Shock and Silent Hill 2. There's also the Spyro Reignited, Crash Bandicoot Remake, Tony Hawk remake.
There's a ton of good remakes out there that actually put some effort into the game while still capitalizing on our nostalgia but in a way that everyone is sorta happy with the outcome. In a lot of these cases, these become the definitive way to play these older games (depending on how much of a purist you are).
The thing is that those remakes is that they are essentially built from the ground up as a new game, but copying the older one and adding some quality of life changes.
The Deus Ex remake is just a fucking upscaled texture pack. It looks so ass. I'm pretty sure you can mod the original game to look better than this.
Deus Ex deserves better. It's not even going to sell because both zoomers and boomers will hate it. Just let it be dead.
Remakes and remasters are two different things. This... whatever they're doing to DX is neither. It doesn't look better, it doesn't play different, it's in the same ballpark as GTA 3 "definitive" edition.I just don't remember buying any remake and saying "Wow, man" it's not like things are better on original IPs either, bought a 13900ks and 4090 2 years ago and there's already no fucking games left to play
The D2 remaster wasnt half bad.Remakes and remasters are two different things. This... whatever they're doing to DX is neither. It doesn't look better, it doesn't play different, it's in the same ballpark as GTA 3 "definitive" edition.
Remasters are easier to pull off, since all you have to do is update the graphics while keeping everything else basically unchanged, like the Oblivion or Diablo 2 remaster.
Remakes are significantly more challenging, since they also alter the gameplay. I can really think of two good, successful remakes - Black Mesa and Yakuza Kiwami.
I'm not disagreeing but I feel that this is more of a case of you being jaded with gaming than anything else.I just don't remember buying any remake and saying "Wow, man" it's not like things are better on original IPs either, bought a 13900ks and 4090 2 years ago and there's already no fucking games left to play
lolBloober team is a pretty good studio
Nightdive did the System Shock remake, not Bloober.Bloober team is a pretty good studio that puts some effort into their remakes, like System Shock
Please, we all know the real reason JC ran into the women's restroom. Why are you all playing a game called 'Jew Sex'?
You are 100% correct, I mixed them up. Edited my message.Nightdive did the System Shock remake, not Bloober.
I forgot to mention this, you'll have to code the missing moon mission and bob page defection arc back in and write it yourself, but here's the female JC mod (voiced by a "woman" I'd wager)we get cut content like staying allied with UNATCO and playing as female JC Denton and all that.

I strongly urge anyone who doesn't immediately throw up a little in their mouth, when they hear "Remaster"Tony Hawk remake.
If we're mentioning good remakes I really enjoy Ys: The Oath in Felghana.Remakes and remasters are two different things. This... whatever they're doing to DX is neither. It doesn't look better, it doesn't play different, it's in the same ballpark as GTA 3 "definitive" edition.

I know but neither me nor anyone i know ever went to brown town, so to speak, when playing Deus Ex.Bhramin Hindu JC was a skin setting in the original game so it wasn't hard for paul probably.
