Assuming, of course, that they didn't screw around with the framework (based off the original Unreal engine) or mess with the file structure.

I'm still recommending Deus Ex: Revision; it's not so much a graphical update mod as an overhaul in its own right.

Even the DeusEx subreddit hates this remaster. Aspyr should do all of us a favor by shuttering, then killing themselves.
 
I sure can't wait until all the tourists arrive to play it while pretending to have been hardcore fans of the franchise since the original and say it's improved in every single way.

Creativity is dead and buried in the games industry, it just keeps getting grave robbed and desecrated.
 
If all you wanted were some shitty retextures that somehow look worse than the base game despite being in higher fidelity and some extra bugs on the side, modders had you covered for years. Someone really dropped the gall on this one, especially since Deus Ex fans have already gotten used to getting screwed over thanks to HR/MD and aren't likely to give you money if you just flash them some memberberries. And if you think normalfags are going to understand how to play this game? lol, lmao even, hopefully this wasn't an expensive demake cause I doubt it will make it's money back.

If anything needs a remaster, it's Invisible War, namely one that expands the areas and doesn't make the game crash every single time you enter a new zone

We can't even have our old games kept the way as it is. Payday 2 now has a subscription service for DLC access monthly and now this fucking remaster.

Sorry if I must fedpost, but I want these game devs and their executives hanged up in lampposts for an eternity.

*Terrorist leader in the first mission is bald for le immersion
*Yellow paint everywhere
*Game is easier for casuals
*On top of having no killable kids, many aspects are censored or removed full stop for "the modern audience", new woke elements are introduced instead
*UI is somehow ruined beyond comprehension and makes Invisible War UI look good
