Warframe updates keep adding conventionally attractive (extremely so) women and letting you date them.

Destiny keeps shoving in nignogs, trannies and fags ad nauseum. The latest antagonist of new arc, maya sunderash, is a gay pojeeta where her being gay and looking for her wife was the subject mater of an entire season shoved in your face nonstop and is still brought up constantly.

Look warframe has a shitload of issues, too many to count, but open contempt for their fanbase is not one of them. Bungie always saw destiny fans as walking wallets and openly hated them for being white, straight and male. I made a list earlier in the thread pointing out destiny has more gay characters than straight ones and if you actually get right down to it destiny has next to zero straight white male characters and nearly all the women are lesbians. I dare anyone to name 3 relevant ones. Drifter's asian, none of the vanguard are white men, Shaxx is unknown, Osiris is gay, Saint is gay, Lodi is mexican, hawthorne is another poojeeta, Devrim is gay, Micah is a tranny, Eriana is gay, Ana is also gay, etc etc.

I honestly cannot name a single straight white man that's relevant to the plot of a game who's main audience is straight white men.

Its all browns, fags, women or a mix of all 3. They're greedy as fuck, they're incompetent as fuck and they hate the people who support them, the only weird thing is that they didn't shut down sooner.

In fact, it going f2p was when I first tried it, dropped it since it pretty much instantly made you buy an expansion to be able to do anything, which is fair. Then I actually properly tried it when I had a month of $1 gaypass I got to run through Halo Inf campaign and it had some D2 expansion that actually showcased the game much better than being stuck on the first map - but I wasn't all that impressed with it since by then it was hyper-saturated with all sorts of trivial abilities and other shit. Hell, adding new key special move gimmicks every year, then killing them off, adding new ones - just kills the overall experience for me.

That's just the thing - it really wasn't beyond being one of the first, console peasant accessible MMO shooters that also came from quite the pedigree of a dev team. Reality of gameplay was this - you had player levels as per normal, but after hitting a very, very low cap from normal grinding it switched to progressing via getting new pieces of weapons and armor you'd only scrape from the SAME damn boss fight and all of that shit was pure RNG. So you'd literally have to grind the same shit for days with zero guarantee of even getting what you're looking for. Forget liking a piece of gear you already owned.....

And even before the vaulting of content, was an amazing easter egg of first DLCs already being on the game disk, hidden and locked away until their announcements and inevitable additional charge just to access them. That was a very, very clear hindsight into what a shitshow the whole thing would become.

At its best Destiny was a lot of potential and a weird dance of 2 steps forward, 5 back, then 5 forward and two back. I was willing to forgive a lot early on because the art, sound, and gameplay loop genuinely was wonderful and suggested something bigger. Apart from the lore and a couple okay expansions, it never came. Worse yet, on the occasions when they brought characters from the backstory into the actual written game, they were marvelized every single time. Osiris is fantastically interesting in the lore, and turned out to be one of the most obnoxious characters in the entire franchise when they put him in.

Basically you're right, you had to be there, but it was just to be naive of how bad it was all going to turn out.

I really recommend watching the video I linked of Joe Staten upthread. Watching him get excited about his own work along to fantastic concept art creates something much better in your mind than the game ever could live up to. Just watch that, reminisce on this non-existent game, and move on.

Warframe has been the gayest, most enforced LGBTP game for at least a decade -- in-game and off-game if they catch you -- that I don't know how you can honestly type this unless you've never played it. Sixty-year-old Saryn doesn't make up for any of it.

I think the most disappointing thing about D2 shutting down is that unlike in D1, where you can just jump straight into the game and play all the content released since day 1, is that you literally can't access even half the content of D2.
 
Honestly, I always thought the game was lame, empty, and shockingly greedy, but I had a lot of good times playing with my brother in Destiny 2 back in the day, and I can't help but have a soft spot for the game despite its massive flaws. The gameplay was mediocre, the story was nonsensical, the characters were bland and boring, the end game content was bad, and the "vaulting" of content definitely made me extremely pissed off, but the game was a classic example of "everything is more fun with your friends". So, despite everything, I am sad to see it go.

Eat shit Bungie. I hope every employee ends up homeless.

They would need to completely eliminate their in-house LGBTQRSPN+ writers and outsource all the writing to 3rd parties, with some kind of agreement and firm payment plan. Otherwise it would just end up being D1 all over again, with their in-house writers constantly whining and shitting on the good material of the outside writers.
