Destiny was shit from the start, in fact Destiny is the progenitor of a lot of shitty practices. Destiny was only good for a slice during TTK and Forsaken
OG Bungie made games that people still discuss and play to this day, decade(s) later. In ten years, both Destiny games will have shut down their servers and people will only talk about how much missed potential they had, if they are even remembered at all.

Destiny has a huge following of fags and troons on plebbit. So I'm sure people are still going to talk about it for a bit while, Until they migrated en-masse to Warframe instead or that new Gook looter-shooter trash.

TWQ actually got my hopes raised for a bit for the game, then it got shot down with Lightfall.

Is it any good game-play wise? I wanna get some thoughts before I use 120gb for it.

Do you like Halo? Because it's not like Halo.

The gunplay and movement are ok. They've taken a sledgehammer to mobility (or they did; it's been years since I've played) but the overall gameplay hasn't changed. I've maintained for years that the game's greatest asset has been its weapons platform and how different guns can feel and perform depending on how they're rolled. There are a handful of gun types that I haven't seen replicated well in other games (fusion rifles especially). There are a LOT of shit guns tho that perform so poorly you'd be forgiven for thinking the gunplay is aids.

former game director Chris Barrett outed as a predator, former Destiny turned Sony shill Reforge Gaming who was banned from the game due to similar actions (coincidentally on Barretts Wife) calls him out

5 of the 8 accusation was not referring to trannies by their pronouns, so not smart because he let his guard down around trannies as a white male. But his fucking wife metoo's some random streamers back in the day so its extra funny if he was harassing women. History is like poetry it uh... rhymes

apparently Revenant is coming out October 8th, I can only hope they announce whatever the fuck they are planning for 2025 within the next few weeks because the Parasocial addict retards on twitter/reddit are already accusing Bungie of trying pull the plug after Heresy is finished.

The future is less content for more money, they have essentially given up on any audience that isn't addicts

Chris Barrett is just as lib brained as any of the other tranny enablers at Bugie and his wife literally metoo'd some random streamer.
Libs are more likely to get targetted due to vicinity letting your guard down. So once again. They make so much smoke on purpose i can no longer treat it as a fire.

His wife just means its funny even if he is innocent.

So, Destiny (the franchise) just celebrated 10 years on the 9th, and they have revealed a new roadmap 1726075386331.png

What they will try to do is to release two medium-sized expansions every years instead of one big one, and will also ditch the campaign model from them altogether
We are excited to try new things that challenge your idea of what a Destiny experience can be. We are actively prototyping non-linear campaigns, exploration experiences similar to the Dreaming City or Metroidvanias, and even more unusual formats like roguelikes or survival shooters. Each expansion will present a new opportunity to try something different.

Departing from one-shot campaigns doesn’t mean we are turning away from great story telling. Going forward, we want to return the mystery and wonder that was woven into the fabric of early Destiny, when the story felt ripe with possibilities and an epic sense of exploration and discovery. Great stories are as important as ever in our creative vision and Alison will touch more on that below.
They will try to basically throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. Episodes are going the way of the dodo as well, instead having 4 "major" updates each year, with the seasonal resets now happening alongside said expansions.

So it seems like they haven't given up yet, but I don't have high hopes for their continued existance

Not expecting much from these updates, especially with the reveal of the changes for armor and the new gear tier system. All of these hinges on Destiny not going belly up with marathon after the epic shitshow that was Concord. Marathon is coming out in 2025 and we know nothing besides the fact that the game director was fired for being a sex pest and they got the valorant guy to direct it. No gameplay not even news of a solid release window. Hopefully Marathon puts down the old pozz dog that is bungie and give Destiny IP to some other studio to whip up something

theyll continue to exist even if its just as the Destiny studio, I don't think Marathon will be a huge success but I could be wrong, theres enough casuals to sustain Destiny, Marathon is going to have to take from the Overwatch auidence (Destiny players largely arent going to care about Marathon) and Concord proves thats extremely hard to do, there probably re-evaluating their plans for Marathon atm
