Oh absolutely the foreclosure if anything will definitely accelarate his hair loss and intensify the begging.
Disagree. Right now, he's still on the hook for the monthly HOA fees. Once the foreclosure is complete, he's free and clear (aside from maybe the deficiency). Even if he gets the deficiency on him, they won't be able to get the money directly, so he'll just end up with a lien on his WAkhando.

He's going to get away with everything isn't he? Bankruptcy and foreclosure. He'll have a ruined credit thats it. The legal system really needs to get with the times.

Mate sadly he likely will get away with it. However, he will do something to fuck his shit up again in no time.

With the property appreciating and the courts being so backlogged I’d bet they will not pursue a deficiency judgement

It can be hard not to invest too much in to Phil friend but you gotta remember to disengage sometimes. He is a real shithead which is why it’s so easy to alog and be personally invested in his downfall, however far away it is. Just enjoy the ride and try not to focus too much on the destination brother

The Discord leaks also showed he believes the deficiency is unenforceable after his bankruptcy so I expect he knows less than us about his own foreclosure right now.
He may actually be right on that. Nobody's bothered to do any serious research on the topic, and presumably DSP actually at least talked to his actual bankruptcy lawyer. I think possibly MidFirst hasn't bothered pushing really hard on this to let DSP soak up the HOA fees so they don't have to pay them, so they're just not really in a hurry.

The greatest failure is himself. I would not put it past him to completely put every single "lesson" he's learnt aside that's happened because of this entire scenario, and he'll find himself in debt again, guaranteed.

Because his credit is fucked and can't take out a long term loan from any financial institution for over four years, this addict is for certain going to look for a loan shark in order to get that sweet sweet green on credit, he's not entirely willing to change his lifestyle even though he's getting less money, at least for a little while longer.

Based on 5 seconds of research it seems like an event on a "short calendar" is simply something the judge needs to decide upon. In this case I'm not sure what it would be, and it's also not clear that DSP actually has to make an appearance before the judge.
Are you sure it doesn't say snort calendar? Didn't Leanna get him one of those?

Phil declaring bankruptcy was enough of a win for the deteactors imho. We've theorized for years that he's borderline special needs, and the insights from his bankruptcy all but proved it. As was already said - he might get away from his bankruptcy with a slap on the wrist, but that just means he's going to lose more money when he gets scammed buying some magic beans.

Appreciate the feedback. Think im doing okay though.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Most likely, the judge will just grant the strict foreclosure motion. The only remotely interesting question is whether MidFirst tries to collect on any deficiency, but don't count on it.
Ugh. Sitting here like patience on a monument waiting out this fucking thing.

Goddammit Phil, be interesting! The twitch thing was a nice prod but come on.

Indeed. It cannot be stressed enough how much it bothers Phil the fact that he has been so thoroughly exposed. Don't be fooled by him feeling himself over successfully committing bankruptcy fraud despite efforts to stop him, he is not happy about how things went down at all.

I don't even care if he can get away without paying the difference at this point. Phil has had to pay $400/month since he initially stopped paying back in May 2019. Thats almost $9600 in HOA fees alone because he couldn't be bothered to sell the place himself before moving to Washington... and he will probably still keep paying while the court process takes its sweet ass time.

On one hand Phil is really lucky to get this out of hand with less deficency. I mean it seems as if his CTkhondo has gained value in the last year. On the other hand bad luck because now he won't see any of that increased value and he had to fork out HoA fees. And with him loosing the Twitch partnership it does look bleak. Of course if Midfirst finds something they might want to claim who knows what will happen. For Midfirst themselves that was a steal: get a cheap mortgage, have Phil pay the fees and now a property with increased value. win-win-win

It's not looking like much of a win for him now, he still can't manage his finances and he can't go bankrupt again for a long time.

I wouldn't call paying thousands in HOA fees and mortgages for a house he doesn't use getting away with it per se, but given how fast and high homes have been selling on the market lately I do agree that it's doubtful that Midfirst will smack Phil with a deficiency on the way out.

That said this is still a huge loss in potential profit since Phil could've easily short sold the place (or just sold it proper) for a good chunk of money over the years but now that opportunity is gone.

Phil could've easily short sold the place
I believe Phil when he said no one would work with him to short-sell the place. By the time he got around to trying it his credit rating was probably in the toilet due to skipped payments of various sorts and maxed-out credit cards full of Hulk Hogan pulls. Not to mention that he had no real job - not even the "employed by your own shell company" ruse other internet people use.
I'm sure the various holders of his mortgage preferred the status quo where he mostly, eventually kept making his payments.

That's a very Phil thing to do: act like an asshole, in this case by not paying, and still expect a positive result, in this case being the option of getting rid of what he considered a boat anchor. Which was his fault, since it wouldn't have been that if he had met his responsibilities like the mature adult he plays pretend at being.

It's incredible the degree to which one can so easily avoid living his kind of life by simply not being a dick.

I would love to get a chance to read the Statement of Financial Hardship he sent to them to try to justify why he deserved a short-sell.

I know my sides would be in orbit reading how his diseased brain tried to frame "I spent a ton of money on other shit and now I want to be granted a short-sell on the loan I took out from you because I don't want to pay what I owe you anymore. For these reasons I deserve you taking a $50K hit on the $120K you gave me."
