Probably OICuck taking the dsp fandom a little too far and buying the old King of Hate studios.

Really though how is that a property that someone can actually buy and own? It just looks like a shitty 1 bedroom apartment. Its not like you would own the building/yard or even your own walls since they're shared with your neighbors. And $400 per month HOA fees for an apartment room.

At least his new condo is only like a couple of houses crunched together, this old one was literally just an apartment building.

And what is phil 65 years old? Why is he obsessed with condos? Just buy a house and take care of your yard like a normal, able bodied man.

Condo's are unironically a good purchase for someone like Phil. Almost everything is taken care of by someone else but you still own the unit. The only problem is that Phil took out a massive mortgage for his Condo instead of buying it himself or getting a small mortgage for it. So he will be on the hook for this massively and the chance to refinance his mortgage basically is going away

Don't forget the apparently $400 a month HOA fees too.
Oh fuckin' hell. I forgot they were THAT high. (Minor PL) Mine is 50 bucks every quarter. When I was looking for a house a couple years ago, I was finding some with ***2*** HOAs that totaled over $400 a month. That's ridiculous.

So, 100k + $400 a month for 600 square feets? Jesus tap-dancing christ.

As someone who has lived in a condo, I am guessing the HOA fees are that high because there are repairs to that shitty building that need to be made. I also am betting that the individual condo needed a shit ton of upkeep so whoever is coming in will have to fix that. I did look a couple months back and other, better condos there were selling for at least 10k more than what Phil's went for

Cost is no object when you're trying to impress your carpool mate. Dropped $131k and still got turned down.

I wonder what the note on that toilet says. "Low flow, some shithead flushed grease and chased it with a robust, mature adult log."

He looks like hes in his 50s and he just got out of a coma with how atrophied his body is. Its disgusting.
I'm guessing he goes to bed very late, seriously buzzed and absolutely stuffed with carbs and lard.

Then it's pulls for an hour or two, or anyway until the cellphone falls from his hands and knocks him on the forehead.
Restless sleep for a few hours until his fight or flight kicks in and jolts him into checking Twitter for trolls.

At that point he "might as well get up" for a sad shit, more pulls, carbs and the couch until it's bedtime. Rinse and repeat.

Days turn into months, months turn into years.

There's no fucking way his HOA is 400 a month. My uncle lives in a retirement community with a private fucking golf course and pays an HOA around that
HOA fees are responsible for upkeep and other administrative expenses for a condo community. I could see the place being a shithole and needing tons of repairs soon that nobody planned for so they had to raise HOA fees massively to prevent the place from falling apart

Or the $125 in monthly property tax and terrible location. Based on my skim of Google Maps he basically lived right on a state highway without the convenience of having anything interesting nearby. The only things within a ten-minute drive were grocery stores, big box stores, and crappy chain restaurants. If Phil weren't an utterly vapid person he would have been bored to death there.

I love your optimism, the bank leaks confirm it as $400 (well $399.81 if you want to be pedantic) a month.

In all fairness the Zillow listing (archive) mentions that hot water is included in this so the split might really be $350 or so to the HOA with the remaining $50 going to the utility.

If I remember correctly this was exactly what happened - there was a fire in one of the other units in his building, that put a large hole in the roof, and because some of the other tenants were druggies they scrammed. Put it all together and you get a 4- or 5- figure bill with fewer people around to pay it.

CT is ridiculously expensive. They assess a yearly vehicle tax in Bridgeport.

Back in the mid 90s, people I knew were assessed a 'wheel tax' on their riding mower in the Ashland CT area.

Everytime I learn more about the stupid decisions Phil makes I'm amazed. Why the fuck is he living in such an expensive area as a streamer. He's retarded.

Then again considering his bankruptcy, of course he is

Didn't he buy it when he was working the most basic job at a bank because he was too stupid to do anything else?

The CT condo has been explained as him trying to get into a coworker's pants by impressing her and failing miserably. I really don't care; it's in the past.

The REAL question is, why is he still living in the WA condo now? That's above water. He could sell that, pay off the WA condo, probably outright by a house ANYWHERE that has decent internet for $100K, and the bulk of his financial problems would go away. I mean, I know he would just spend more money on pulls, but you get the point.

One theory is that he is so paranoid that he NEEDS that gate and that fence to keep "the trolls" out. Look at the way he reacts every time there is a noise outside. I think he genuinely is paranoid.

He is barely above water on the WA condo. He only put 5% down when buying it so he has had to pay off insurance on it as well. Along with that, mortgage rates are going up so him looking to buy a house would not work. Plus, by the time he tries pulling all that off, houses might become scarcer so he would have to look around for a bit. And all the money he might have potentially saved up to get the house would have been used on WWE Champions so its probably smarter to just not try
