Gein is pre-Reimer David Reimer. His mom told him all women except for her were evil and his father walked out on them, so when she died it drove him completely over the fucking edge with how reliant on her she'd made him.

She also put him in a dress when he was a kid. That's a pretty common thing among serial killers, actually. One hopes the pattern repeats with these horrid monster parents trooning out their kids.

I wanna know more about his mom. Women are evil, men are evil, I'm surprised she wasn't his first kill. It's nuts how that treatment either drives someone to kill their abuser or the complete opposite, they're so fucking browbeaten they can't imagine raising a hand against them, not from fear but admiration.
