Opened this thread expecting a Linux fag rant, and after having read that holy fuck I don’t envy you lmao. Isn’t ventoy a USB thing? Are you trying to boot into a live windows iso?

Sorry OP you'll have to start a thread about Windows if you truly hope to bring out a critical mass of linux fags.

Also never dual boot off the same drive, install each OS to separate HDD/SDDs and choose your OS by choosing the drive with the BIOS boot option. Do not let the linux installer see your windows OS at install time or your gonna get GRUB on your windows drive with most installers and then the linux community will get granite erections from the issues you present.

I came across the same thing when I used dd for the purpose of creating a bootable Windows USB - I'm not familiar with Ventoy, but perhaps it's using dd for this, yielding the same result? Perhaps you could try Etcher, it should work.

Linux mint has a builtin USB bootable software but i guess it only does linux iso cause when i tried to do a win10 iso it wouldn’t work and it keep bring up a prompt that suggested Ventory so i tried that instead ill try using etcher
