https://youtube.com/watch?v=2SgSuQNNMxo Don't know if it was posted before but EmpLemon made a video about Deadlock.
Not sure if you saw the date of the videos upload, it's as old as the leaks themselves. He needs to make a sequel if he hasn't made one already.
What kind of limestone pit did you dig this video from? It belongs in a museum!
Ironically it shares the same sentiment as the first 10 pages of this thread, namely how bland and boring it looked, Valve has lost it, TF2 died for this and more. The good thing about leaks is that they came before the concord controversy, avoiding the comparisons that plagued so many games that came after it, like highguard or marathon.

On /v/ people were already comparing it to concord. Opinion only really became positive when invites stared flying out.

I thought he was retarded and wrong back then, and I still think he's retarded and wrong.
To be fair, nobody knew what the game was all about and leakers/playtesters didn't give the game good descriptions either. People saw a third-person shooter with half-baked textures (or none) and wrote it off as another fortnite trend-chaser, it wasn't until the game becoming "public" opinions started to change.

The video, the first pages of the thread and many other unfavourable discussions were a result of judging a game by it's cover. Thankfully we were wrong this time.

They only nerfs that should come about in my opinion is,
A. The one sided draft Pick match making where 1 in every 3/4 games it's not draft power creep fest should be fixed

B. The multiplication on bullet damage spikes.
I believe laning is quite fair and fun. To me one of the funniest parts of a match.
But having a haze for example that you personal 1v1 in lane and you were able to to win and lived with quite good Hp amount left over. Come 20 minutes later. 1+ Fixation , maybe a Bullet dance thrown in, and Within a few seconds you could be melted.

Before you state to counter buy. That was already done.
Return fire, and 30% bullet resistance on the stats. (Haze , Vyper and Wraith same team)
Its getting to much to have a 1 Sided fight every time and it's always Sprit losing unless the M1 Missplays. Which happens quite a lot.

(Depiction of of the 2 Russians on my team)
Anyway +Rep to the random Russians that's carried my 0-10 Kelvin ass today.

I’ve rejiggered my characters a bit but I’m not 100% on the last one: Abrams, Billy, Mo, Yamato, and Victor. I’m still in shit-elo, but I’m having some problems sometimes with Victor when I’m just flat-out outranged while also wondering if the ult is encouraging bad habits. Who would people say is a good frontliner to switch out? Geist? Warden? Both of them seem to fill that same frontliner/carry niche that he occupies.

I also need to be using Billy’s 3 more as a sustain tool over just popping it to refresh his 1.

Phantom strike for flyers and maybe a Warp Stone, if you wanna go mad, I've seen some victors with Majestic Leap to help Jump some random to initiate fights but could result in you dying if you team has no idea you doing it

Warpstone feels almost mandatory on him. I also wonder if I need to just be building green and purple or get at least the 4.8 gun spike.

Cooldowns exist, and resilience items exist for abilities. Gun isnt a resource you have to watch like your very own abilities.
I mean spirit resilience no matter how much you stack will not be enough when the enemy team is 6 spirit users and decide to deathball meanwhile metal skin will be enough for 6 gun heroes that's the issue not even talking about how cheap metal skin is or how broken disarming hex is vs gun heroes.
counterspell is a thing
Again, only stops one ability namely Lash.
