Agree. One major complaint I've had with the last patch is that there's no real connections between any of the new people, like the hero conversations are minimal and you have characters like Graves and Rem who are just sort of .. there, and have absolutely nothing lorewise to talk about with the other characters. As much as I like Rem mechanically he just feels like Viscous minus the issues-of-the-deep thing in regards to lore (which they could still spin in fun directions if slork ever comes back).

One of the only funny things I've seen come out of the lgbtq discourse for this game is someone proposing they make Drifter asexual along the lines of the doom marine. No fuck, no marry, only kill. It'd be really funny and also piss off the shippers in a way they couldn't complain about.
 
Does anyone have any tips on landing Holliday's 3? I feel Vindicta's snipe and Paradox's 3 are fairly easy to land but even with immobilizes/stuns in play it's a miracle if I land a crackshot.

Sadly there is no big trick to it outside of setting up a crackshot by hitting them with a barrel beforehand, since you can get the feel for how they get knocked back from. I'm not an aimlet so i mostly just pray i dont get laned against smallheads such as mina.

Really excited for this game to have a full release, though late 2026 is a very optimistic window. I hope the lore's good, the conversations between the characters brings a lot of good dynamics and depth, sadly I have not yet gotten an invitation or know anyone who has on Steam. My favorite happens to be the convos between Dynamo and Mirage, some comment on youtube said it does feel like real conversations you might have while stuck at a bus stop.

Victor also kinda sounds like Carl from Family Guy.

There are a gorillion threads in steam discussions of people giving out invites just look for an active one.
Add them and ask for an invite in the discussion thread, you can unfriend them after they respond. Invites can take a few hours to show up.
The invite should come in the form of a steam notification telling you you're part of the playtest. Any shady DMs with "invite links" or asking for your details are scams. Please my friend do not get redeemed.

I've heard there were some visual novels centered around some of the heroes and I think that they'd be good as supplemental material as well, and I also hope that we get comics like in TF2 (this is pretty likely).

If Drifter got one I imagine that, since in some stories vampires get stronger with age, that he is resistant to some of the vampire weaknesses. Imagine tossing a bucket of rice at him thinking you can force him to count it and get away but then he actually counts it all even before it hits the ground. I don't think him and Mina have any interactions (I haven't seen any) but IIRC Mina was only recently turned so she would still be vulnerable to some of the weaknesses. She runs a boutique by day so imagine her accidentally spilling a container of buttons on the ground and having the impulse to count them all. Again the little things matter a lot when it comes to characterization, which I am also excited to see.

I'll have a look. This is my first MOBA I'm looking to get into so I have to do some research and practice.

I only know about the Lady Geist visual novel leak from like a year ago. They also apparently have an Ivy and Holliday vn in the works.

Street Brawl really brings out my inner Lash because I understand his complete and utter hate for Bebop.
60 fucking seconds on that retarded as fuck ultimate, infinite spirit damage that you will eat via stick bomb uppercut combos and he gets to pull people on a tenth of the cooldown of Paradox/Holliday's ultimates.
And those are the adjusted numbers.
