Maybe Valve de-SBI-ed themselves. Valve may be in the/pretty close to the heart of the leftielands, but they we're always pretty libertarian.
 
Seems like Celeste's VA is the same one who did bookworms initial casting, except the accent is not as heavy, and i am so glad they didn't can that one because it sounds great.

I got the invite for the game a day or two when they started to be available. The ugly characters made me nope out. Been playing it today. I like the lovecraft look of the game. And I like the concept. Hopefully this one grows on me because it is getting better.
 
I'm completely obsessed with the new game mode and I haven't gone back to Deadlock since the Old Gods update

I got in around the same time and apart from the various smaller changes to the map and characters the game really started coming together visually with the previous major update where they revamped the main menu by adding the safehouse area along with the theme song. There is still plenty of holdovers from neon prime, but the amount of bespoke deadlock assets already reached a point where the amount of WIP things that feel out of place like viscous model are a minority.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I hope they add more gamemode that don't follow the moba style. A payload style gamemode would be fun.

In making Pocket retarded and engaged in gender ideology, Valve has actually written the most accurate character ever. Just think:
  • Hated by parents.
  • Scrawny.
  • Mocked by Lash for still being a virgin, copes by saying he's non-binary.
  • Sad faggot.
  • Obsession with frogs.
  • Chose a random noun as a name.
  • Gives people AIDS.
Is this Valve's masterclass in character writing?

You also forgot he starts with a broken spirit ( base -15% spirit resist) and is constantly ridiculed by some female characters in the cast. You might be onto something here.
 
What is the deal with the priority token system? I've never gotten any of my priority heroes and I pick like barely chosen in brawl characters like Holliday.

Are you just selecting your character or are you giving it the double right click? I find it hard to believe you are not getting holliday by leaving only her with max priority.

This is my roster, i obviously never get celeste since everyone and their mother is playing her, but i always get the top three i picked. When i had viscous on max priority i always got him.
 
Finally got an invite, after adding complete strangers on the discussion page who often would beg for CS skins, or random shit I had.

I've always found mobas gay, but somehow Valve has done it. While I am still learning the complete basics since this is my first moba, I've been getting good games with Drifter. Plenty of assistant's since I've been using one of those online builds. Which half the shit doesn't make sense to me, but it does feel good to outplay those with basic movement skills.

Fun game, though. Got me hooked on for 6 hours straight.

Yeah it makes it super inconvenient to not know about little hotfixes that are constantly happening here and there if you're not in the trooncord.
