Batman the Brave and the Bold was a much more... energetic take on DC. What even the pictures cannot convey is the outrageous Barvarian accent they added too.
I used to watch the shit out of that show as a kid. It was one of the things that really got me into superheroes.

Something I really appreciate was how for a show all about Batman working together with various heroes, it waited until the third season to use Superman and Wonder Woman. Instead, Batman teamed up with several other heroes who haven't gotten as many animated appearances. It wasn't just B-listers like Green Arrow and Plastic Man. Other heroes would be introduced to younger audiences like B'wana Beast and the Doom Patrol. I remember the episode I watched the most wasn't the one where Batman fought Superman, but rather, the one where Batman teamed up with the Metal Men.

They were barred from using Superman and Wonder Woman till the last season. The usual DC licensing issues cropped up, forcing the team to use less popular heroes for the most part.

Speaking of Brave & The Bold…
I don't think it's going to be Mr. Freeze. It's a little too goofy, flamboyant, and campy for Reeves' universe. What all the pictures are showing is kind of a "natural" cold, and it's not the snow or anything that is doing anything. It's actually Batman himself being cold. And what do we do when we're cold? We get under a blanket. A specific kind of blanket. Which can only mean one thing:

You laugh, but Brave & The Bold actually made this dude a legit threat.

How about he does that one villainess who was born with a hollow brain and has a hole in her head?

God damn, I love it when comics aren’t afraid to be retarded.
The Absence. One of Grant Morrison and his posse's many WTF creations.

I do appreciate how Morrison's cult of personality has dissipated over time so that more and more people are willing to call out how retarded his Batman comics were.
