The funny thing I always found about DoA was how Willis handles LGBT things. You get Ethan, who is openly gay, going back in the closet for several books before finally starting to date guys openly. And then you have Danny, who discovers he's bisexual, but never does anything with it as far as I can remember. But the girls? As soon as they realize they're lesbian/bi?
