I haven't kept up with this guy's thread in years. So sad how Gamergate broke these people (not that they weren't complete fuck-ups before, but more so after Gamergate). A few trannies probably retweeted something anti-GG David posted a few years ago, and now he thinks they're friends and has been regularly paying them money all these years in the hopes that they acknowledge his existence again on Twitter.

The tragedy of David Gallant is that he essentially sublimated everything he held dear about himself - his hobbies, his desires, even his self-respect, in order to become another textbook self-flagellating male feminist who also happens to be a sexually-confused idiot who comes across as a creeper. At any point in time, he could have turned shit around. At any point in time, he could have saved himself. He didn't, even when he knew what he was doing was wrong.

In fact, that's the hallmark of Daveykins: That he felt he could get more and more ingratiated into the good books of his allies, if only he became the most ardent fighter on their side. That's why he was always in the vanguard for CON, that's why he was constantly pushing for escalation during GG, and that's why, ultimately, he was unpersoned by his own side. Even now, he pretends he cannot fathom that his own side willingly grouped him in the same camp with his enemies when he was always the most faithful.

Under it all, with David Gallant, there's a percievable sorrow behind his actions, and it doesn't take much to see why: David Gallant has come face to face with the fact that his alleged virtue is naught but a sham, played upon himself most of all. That was beautiful. I always wanted to say it that way but was to dumb to do so. He cant stop shouting filterless into the void, just like many of his companions. I guess he thinks its always the right thing to say what he true & honestly has on his mind. He wont ever say something he thinks would be a lie, even if people hate him for that. Thats good if you stop with personal stuff like his masturbating to gamergate etc. Sometimes its better to not say stuff than to always tell the truth.
 
I don't follow this thread much but I like to call this guy Zach Galifapnakis.
 
Today marks one month since David deleted his Mastodon account. The optimist in me would like to believe that he's somewhat curbed his autism, but he's likely just still screaming into the void, but this time Ana's bearing the brunt of it.
 
I'm legit surprised he did the sane thing and kept away from Twitter during the battle lines being drawn between Nora and Blowey Zoe.

I hope that wherever he is, David Gallant is straightening his shit out, and improving his lot.

I'm pretty sure someone mentioned him in the SGG thread as having retweeted something from Jake that was completely unrelated to this while he's keeping quiet. He's not away from twitter at all but I do respect his current level of restraint.
 
Since we're fast approaching the three year anniversary of David's most infamous tweet (https://archive.fo/0ndnC), it might be a good idea to take a walk down memory lane and find similar content from days gone by.

You know, we tend to gloss over it, here, but there's something to this.

David has always been one of the most ardent and aggressive male feminists. He was always pushing for escalation during CON's heydey, he was always in the vanguard when attacking enemies of the clique, and he was arguably the first one to charge headfirst over the line during his "GGers should be all deplatformed" nonsense.

But you know what we know about Male Feminists by now. The louder and more obnoxious they are, the higher the likelihood that they're a sex offender or something equally horrific. It's very clear that David did something in the long-forgotten past that he wanted to keep buried, and his being a shrill and strident Nu-Male was a compensation response. All it can do is leave us with the question:

"What was David Gallant talking about? What did he do?"

We may never know. It might be something so minor dating back to his childhood that no one would ever care about, or it could be something so foul that no one would ever be willing to associate with him again. We'll never really know now, and I both lament and am thankful for this in equal measure.
