It doesn't matter if you gave him the greatest tools money could buy, a shit artist is still going to be a shit artist. A real artist would know how to work with the limited tools at his disposal; I've seen tons of people make astonishingly good work in MSPaint. David doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, artistically speaking.

That aside, his sense of self-importance about his admitted non-game is hilarious

It was made in a code framework intended for games. It is hosted and sold where games are hosted and sold. It was inspired by a community game jam. I even called it a game for a very long time. But a large portion of my critics are right: it is not, and has never been, a game. They use this as an insult, but I’m not denigrating my work here. There is nothing wrong with the fact that I Get This Call Every Day is not a game. It is an interactive digital experience that communicates a fictional and yet still real part of what was once my life. It is an experiential record of a nearly true event. It is not played, or witnessed, or read; it is experienced.

First technical impression: File contained an SWF file, an EXE file, and Adobe AIR folders. Removing the Adobe AIR folders disabled the exe for me, but I can still run it from the SWF.

"Played" about 30 seconds of it. It's literally just click selection -> get audio clip and shitty mspaint-style picture based on what was clicked. It's something that would probably belong on Newgrounds, if anywhere
