God it's gross the way Phil can so quickly go from blatantly guilt-tripping fans to acting like he didn't just do that in the blink of an eye.
Though it also supports what we say about him, because this pattern is so clear and extensive. Act like you're in real trouble, and then when the fundraiser is over, drop the act completely and pretend there wasn't one. Then do the same thing again some time later. Forever.
This kind of thing is why I don't believe for one second that Phil is as happy about having Katherine as he was about having Leanna in his life. He didn't appreciate her, or like her for her, but he loved that he had such a prize, and does not consider Kat to be one at all.
I'm willing to bet that this factors into Kat's lack of desire to be around him. Probably also one of the many reasons he drinks so heavily.

He's also really petty and holds grudges forever. He doesn't blame himself one iota for the break-up, because he can't see his own fuck ups. I'm not even talking about the big fuck ups. I'm willing to bet anyone here who has been in a long term relationship can look back and acknowledge things they did wrong, or at least things they could've done better in those relationships. Admittedly if I were in a relationship like all our favourite OTP PhilxKhet's, I'd be miserable too. Though, I probably wouldn't have fucking married it.

A bit of a retake from my post that disappeared with the great server purge of 2021.
We all know about Phil's money issues and e-begging. We know about his love of mobile games etc.
But something that I think is becoming increasingly clear is Phil's handling of his own fans. We know about his ego, but lately I think it has escalated. His interaction with the fans has become really pathetic and passive aggressive.
Age does not make him humble and happy over his fans - rather he has become a vicious and bitter old man.
Has Phil's ego and ranting towards his fans gotten worse? Or is it just me…

His latest marathon was nothing but a punishment for his fans - "you guys aren't giving me the amount of tips I'm asking for so now you're going to give me a shitload of money on saturday". He constantly brings up the threat of a marathon now whenever tips are low. He absolutely hates these people when they don't give him exactly what he demands. I think he'll treat his fans worse and worse as he moves farther down the drain he's circling.
