I mean...there really isn't a better lesson than getting your ass beat for running your mouth. It will 100% make sure you bite your tongue next time ...or at least check the room.

I grew up boxing and even though I'm older now I still tell people that there is nothing like getting punched in the face to wake you up/sober you up/learn a lesson.

Another lesson is no matter how good you get there is always someone better than you (I got knocked out 30 seconds into the first round of my last fight lol). The lesson could be applied to DSP in fighting games/COD, etc I suppose.

One thing DSP really needs to focus on these days now as an older man is that everything on the internet is there forever. Every story he tells, every lie, every truth, every slur, it's all there...forever.

He somehow forgets that too often.

With the interest rates being so low, I doubt they would chase after Phil. If interest rates were to rise to a much higher rate, then offering Phil some credit cards would make sense considering he can't discharge it for a while. But idk, I don't make a living with credit cards

Also, you must verify your PayPal account in order to chip in towards seeing the new hat.

Furthermore, I predict the same thing happens with the gold vest as will his new hat. Hit the tips goal first stream, and only get like $70 on the second one and throw a fit. I'm sure this social degen in the replies will chip in a few bucks too.

I've always thought that Mike Watson and Phil are a lot alike.
They were both competitive Street Fighter players that talked a ton of shit online (Watson, to his credit, would do it in person as well, unlike Phil).
They're both bonafide manchildren who could never handle any sort of criticism people would give them online, typically responding with ad hominem type insults to even the most sensible and valid critiques.
They're both e-beggars, as Watson was able to panhandle around $50K on a Kickstarter for his arcade, Super Arcade. An arcade which he took forever to actually open, and was shut down after a few short years.
Just two generally unlikeable sacks of shit.

Bah! That's long-term thinking. Only short-term thinking gives him the momentary adrenaline and feel of success, because he's a tiny sausage right NOW so he has to act like a braindead big boy right NOW.
The consequences aren't even the problems of Phil-of-the-next-5-minutes, because he did nothing wrong, always everything correct, stupid trolls turn it into unecessary drama.
So as you see, he provides excuses to feel save in his constructed bubble. And it better has to hold till everyone forgot the stupid shit he did or said. Works everytime, if you're a wheelchair.

He really can't hold himself when the jealous rage kicks in, no second thought. I agree, someone should have kicked his teeth in a long time ago to take him back to ground level. Mature adult with a business degree hasn't the emotional power to do it himself.

Nothing will ever quite make me MATI as that clip. I said it at the time, but who the shit has rough decades? Like, I had a rough decade too in between my eviction and break ups. But I also got a degree and a wife. 10 years is a long ass time. Like maybe my Grandmother who has seen like 9 fucking decades can start judging her life by them. And she has. Which also, makes me MATI. Because when she said it was a rough decade she was thinking about how it started with her husband dying, and then all of her siblings, and even a niece. And even then. She was like, ah can't complain. My remaining family is healthy and happy. Yeah as I recall. He went to his 4th place EVO actually intending to play MVC2. But then he got scrubby when he heard about the boycott. Like that is important. He signed up after he learned that good players weren't going to be there.

Also I would love for him to replay it, so he can try and bitch how they turned MvC2 into a game thats all about combos and not fun reahctive gameplay. (Which for our less inclined readers, MVC2 is all about combos. If you play it without combos you will actually time out games because you do such little damage)

I’d like to know how much money Phil spends on the “instant“ PayPal transfer fees. I remember him saying he doesn’t use it every day, but this is Phil so I’d assume that two seconds after his stream ends he’ll be transferring that sweet money to his bank account. Doing that 6 days a week has to add up right? I mean still not enough for him to cry poor, but definitely enough that a bunch of money he otherwise would’ve had is wasted. or can he just use his PayPal balance to pay for WWE?

He does still do this, right? I’ve been having a hard time keeping up with Phil lately cause he’s so fucking BORING.

Phil’s being negative about a new character in street fighter 5….big shocker….his complaints are so shitty and superficial, nobody’s going to remember this character, this one out of many new characters in 5 is somehow like when they made alex the lead of SF3…like Wut

capcom has constantly just thrown shit out there for new characters and don’t really care if they do or don’t return, there’s characters from alpha, 3 and 4 that have never made a 2nd playable appearance, him acting like this character not returning for 6 is some massive L on capcoms part is just stupid, especially when he he also shit on Akira, who was a very hyped character among the fanbase.

he’s just such a negative idiot lol
