Man, I remember playing that game to death when I was a kid.

To be honest though, I probably can't comment on his skill too much personally, as I only played the game on Kid Mode. :P

I will say though that "phhhh" noise he makes is really annoying. As is his laugh.

Judging by his initial reaction to the boarding segment of City Escape, Phil has never played Sonic Adventure 2, or Heroes, ah hell he's probably never picked up a 3D Sonic game in his life.

Ugh... tried watching his video about him insulting game developers and ruining the song. God, this is so annoying and for me it makes Mike Matei's "Elmo in Grouchland" review tolerable.

by the way, this may have been answered already, but why does someone who prides himself on playing video games for a living not invest in a capture card? or even just fraps or dxtory when he's playing PC games? Is he really that technically inept that he can't capture his video games properly?

Also, why do people like him?

I've watched his LPs for a couple of years and I didn't really notice a lot of the stuff that was brought up. I have noticed certain things that really irritate me, though.

He is a complete whore for likes, and it bugs the shit out of me how every single video starts with 'omg let's get to X likes! thanks guys!'. When he can't do something right he ALWAYS blames the game, the controls, anything but himself. I play a LOT of the same games and I happen to know the issues he mentions aren't gameplay/control/glitch/bug issues.

I really hate when he brings his girlfriend into the LPs. She's shit at the games, she isn't funny or insightful, she complains a lot. And I hate how his idiotic fanboys say how great she is because they're sucking up to DSP and because they're fucking permavirgins who jizz themselves at the thought of a girl who plays video games.

I haven't watched any of his LPs since Dead Space 3, because he's getting worse and worse.
