I recall there was a payment to a company/some hustlers that promoted stuff to China.

On one hand, Phil is so greedy and dumb that I could see him do this, assuming that everyone speaks English and will understand him.

On the other hand, Phil doing anything to improve on his situation instead of just demanding more money from his wheelchairs doesn’t exactly sound right.

Most likely he was drunk and started clicking shit?!

That was most likely a mishearing on my part. The robot lady has a lot of places preprogrammed into her, but she gets a bit mushmouthed when she has to sound out a pronunciation herself.

It has been going on for awhile, but recently I noticed how much DSP's "th" pronunciation has turned into "d". Dose, dem, da,, dat, dey". His mouth has followed his mush brain. I won't even get started on the amount of double negatives he uses.

This is a real question from the Chinese are cheaters and thieves rant:

He was talking about this Chinese company ripping off a FF14 trailer, and then while talking about it said it seemed to him like they had stolen the source code.

I don't know anything about video production in any medium besides some really simple editing from high school media class. Does stealing source code from a video make sense? Cause that shit just sounds kind of retarded.

I mean, if it were someone who knew anything about anything I could see them implying the Chinese knocked off the 3d rendering software or something. Phil's just using words he heard in the wrong context.

That shit is absolutely retarded as someone who codes and works on games. Trailers don't have source code, they're animated so it's all about the editing and animation.

Also the trailer he claims rips off another shot for shot is just wrong. They're similar trailers and it's likely the Chinese team used the original trailer as a storyboarding inspiration, but that's it. It's no more a rip off than The Departed is a rip off of Internal Affairs, more an inspiration that takes the same beats, which is absolutely legal.

Only a retarded racist would turn that into crying about "muh chinese lie cheat and steal to get ahead".
