There's only one way you'd do this, and that's whith enthusiasm. Why would you send information he can easily acquire with a simple Google search and the capability of reading?
The level of handholding if and when he gets stuck in a game must be tremendous, which reminds me of the Minecraft blueprints and dedicated website he completely ignored.
I can't think that this guy knows about Champions (as in why it's blatant) but I could be wrong; the comment sounds like an obligation as it's worded. Like "DSP
really needs the support or he won't be able to stream, that's why he needs our help" tier of fan, not as an ironic troll, or as one that's aware of the scamming (e.g: Gothy).
Slayer is also a long time viewer and contributor (played multiplayer with DSP), so I could see him refusing to believe his Internet friend is scamming and lying to others, simply due to emotional connection "at some level".
So if you're one that thinks all/most DSP fans know about the scamming but don't care, what is your opinion on Slayer? Does he believe Champions is real but dismisses it because he only cares about games being played, or has he been convinced into not even considering that DSP is feigning distress?
I know for some of these people is easy to turn a blind eye on Champions, they only care about videogames, but can someone that acts like Slayer think in his head "Oh, DSP is lying through his teeth right now, but whatever, I'll send some bucks later on"?
Or more like "Damn, I need to help Phil, he's not doing so well these days, plus he needs groceries in a couple of days"?
