I don't watch that streamer, but I assume that they're just giving their opinion and making observations. It's only if they claim to be experts on the topic, then they should be able to back it up, if they don't claim that then they're just making remarks under their own understanding of things, like kiwifarmers do on here.

Also some of them may be more passionate about certain topics because they have extra knowledge that they want to share (like Steve, who regardless of competency should know a bit more than a random person, I assume), expand on, or address, because they're comfortable covering something related to their field.
