At risk of sounding like a cringey faggot, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Of course they didn't intend for him to have a meltdown and trash walmart. However, that's a reasonable expectation from, for lack of a better term, harassing a mentally ill homeless man.

Usually I’d agree with you on the topic of weens interfering, but the dog was old as fuck and after another hour could’ve been cooking in an alley dumpster somewhere. Daniel is crazy but he’s only ever really caused damage to himself and property, I honestly think he knows most people would be able to kick his malnourished ass if he tried anything, thus explaining the minimal resistance to security as he usually just hits himself in the head or falls to the ground to make it harder for people to carry him out of somewhere he isn’t meant to be.

Dan has attacked Bob before, a very specific set of circumstances to be fair, but it has happened. He also spit on a Bodega owner in NY when prompted to by weens. Dan for sure couldn't hurt an able-bodied adult, but an old/infirm person? Absolutely.

I think the primary disagreement here is on whether it was worth the risk to save the dog. Personally, I think the risk incurred from sending Dan into a meltdown is greater than the loss of the dog. Maybe I'm cold/heartless, but I think the risk to humans is greater than what is lost from the dog.

How have you read everything I've said and yet missed my point entirely. You're way too snarky to be this retarded. Of course everyone here is here to watch Dan meltdown, it's entertaining. That doesn't mean we should praise the people who cause them. I think it's possible to both acknowledge that it's funny, and a net negative action. Sure, in this instance no one was hurt or assaulted; All he did was trash some Walmart displays, requiring him to be held down by a random shopper. How were the vigilantes to know that Daniel would have that kind of meltdown (in which it really wasn't that severe)? He didn't have a meltdown over the haircut and his meltdowns when he's been kicked out of various places in Las Vegas were little more than temper tantrums. Also, Daniel MAY have had a bit more of a serious meltdown and possibly hurt someone (which again is debatable) but in the meantime, Daniel was having a direct, negative impact on that dog's welfare. Also, just where does Daniel's personal accountability begin and end? You're framing this as though Daniel is completely absolved of personal accountability when he has these reactions.

They can't know what Dan is going to do, but it's reasonable to believe he'll have a negative reaction to negative stimuli. It was actually relatively similar to the haircut (vis-a-vis the method of getting Dan to agree). Both the dog person, and the haircut guys lulled Dan into a false sense of security by being kind and speaking with him for a while/pretending to be friendly/his friend. I think the main difference between the two, which led to Dan's delayed negative reaction to his haircut (not that he had a meltdown) was that the haircut people never really pulled a reveal that they were against him, whereas the dog person at the end just walked away and put the dog in her car (Pretty unambiguous).

Dan has the mental capacity of a child - It's painfully obvious if you speak with him, he lives in a fantasy world. I think his personal responsibility in his meltdowns is diminished (Especially when the cause is a ween). Not to say that he shouldn't have any consequences, or any responsibility for his actions whatsoever - But it's comparable in my eyes to upsetting a child, their reaction can be at least expected to be a temper tantrum.

I am getting a bit tired of having this discussion though, especially since it's been so controversial, so after this I'd prefer to just no longer address it. Plus, I've taken up like half of this page with my posts.

At risk of exposing myself as a massive faggot. A few years back I interviewed Dan to find out more about his early life. The video never gained wide=spread popularity and I have since taken it down from all other places (Not to gatekeep, just other dumb reasons).

Up to 9 clips so far, I have maybe ~40ish minutes of content in total (Uncut), about through 15 minutes right now and each vid I've made is ~1-2 minutes long. I was a lot younger back then though and I dislike how much I talked, I felt the need to show to Dan that I was engaged to keep him talking. Taking a while as I have to cut out my parts and label them with the questions. So be forewarned, there are a lot of jump cuts in the vids (Mostly cutting out all my fucking retarded "Mmhmm"s) - Doesn't affect his answers that much though.

They're done being cut up. I have ~35 minutes of Dan speaking spread across 20 clips. I'll be spending the next while getting them uploaded here and posted, would anyone prefer them to be hosted to YouTube?

Apologies if this question has been answered but I couldn't find anything about it: where are his parents? We know he was removed from his parents and had to live with Grandma. Grandma died and he was on his own. Where are the parents now? Do they not give a fuck? Did he burn that bridge? What happened?

I don't care that much, I'm far too lazy to go through and do that now that I'm done cleaning them up. Plus, I suppose it is nice for more people to know these things.

If someone else wants to add watermarks after I'm done uploading, I'll 100% take mine down and let theirs be the only ones. I just can't be assed to do it.

Needing some extra time, having to re-render some vids to 720p 30fps as they're too large. Will upload to YouTube in full 1080p 60fps if requested.
