As I said before, Doug was supposed to be this Christ like figure giving holy "exposure" that would magically get these lazy millenials jobs and fame within Hollywood where their "obvious" talents would FINALLY be noticed. Doug turned out to be a false prophet because he commited the disgusting sin of treating his co workers professionally and not getting involved in their pointless autistic legbeard feuds. So they all pivoted to Lindsey, seeing how she had some industry connections to minor people in Hollywood. But that didn't pan out either because the people Lindsey knew were washed up wine aunts or very low level executives looking for a purse puppy. Hence the betrayal. Which they probably desperately wanted to do for at least 5 years now.
Yeah.I agree Doug is boring and has no intellectually Curiosity but the Same could be said for dan.

Several years later, the bald imitation of Jim Varney they all owe their careers to is still somehow raking views and, even though he is nowhere near where he wanted to be, he still is above them and influenced a myriad of creators to the point some communications and visual media professors are familiar with his work.
