It's kind of strange because he really isn't an idiot. Out of his social media peer group, he stands out as the one who isn't completely oblivious. I think it is possible he's just a normie coming into the morass that is the internet's dark side too far along to actually get it.

The thing is, the background to the technological failure that null has supposedly engaged in is very technical. I certainly don't pretend to understand it. Only actual proficient comp sci students understand it and they blame Josh for a multiplicity of failures that correspond with Jim's management. So Null has become 8chan's boogieman. Guys like Dan will conflate 8chan and kiwifarms together because it suits their narrative, nothing more. These guys need a united enemy. The fact that we're here to laugh at sad cunts doesn't matter. They will always induce ideology where it doesn't work.

Opposing views are instantly mocked and blocked. I've practically never seen one of these people want to engage in any debate. They post within their little bubble, if they are criticised they attempt to one up the person with posts about their profile or history of posts, failing that, its a block.

Lindsay left Channel Awesome shortly after GamerGate started but I doubt they had anything to do with her silence. Plus, the forums pretty much banned GamerGaters on sight so it wasn't like it was an unsafe environment to air anti-GamerGate views.
My theory is she basically used Todd and Dan as her proxies to try and take the heat off her. Todd may not be with her anymore but they still live together, he's a member of Chez Apocalypse and I'm willing to bet he still panders to her every need.

I'd say it's because Videogames aren't really Lindsays purview, while Dan and Todd probably were following it more closely as the lonely feminist male they are. 8Chan's hate of null and the Farms laughing at people like Dan do help the latter in trying to conflate two different entities as one singular group. They just want to use it as something to confirm their biases so as to think we'd hold common ground despite the fact the Farms itself laughed at GamerGate.

They probably aren't that bad irl, and Brad isn't above telling people they're full of shit. He also doesn't like getting involved with petty drama over the internet and mostly keeps his personal problems to himself. When Angry Jake was fired, Brad was nice enough to try and not drag his name through the mud even though he would have been fully justified to do so. The only reason people know what happened is because he eventually told his Patreons and one of them leaked the post on the CA forums.
Also let's not forget that Brad is far more successful on his own than with CA, they would have been fucked if he decided to leave them alongside Phelous.
