If a revolver, it might be cost. Used revolvers are cheap. People buy them at full price wanting a powerful round like .357 or .44 magnum, realize after it's only 5 or 6 rounds, and is a bit heavy compared to its semi auto contemporaries. They then sell them back and that trickles down to the poorfags at a discount. I say this as a revolver owner.
