Getting away from the endless arguments of who is right for a moment, I did see an interesting point brought up on that page. One redditor mentions the prosecution have requested a source hearing for the bond if he tries to pay it, which would investigate where the money came from. From what I've read online, a source hearing is just a thing they have in TN to ensure the money is not from illicit sources when a large bail is being posted. The redditor implies however that the judge could block him from using crowdfunded money for bond? That seems ridiculous to me but does anyone with more legal knowledge know if this is a possibility?Reddit is chimping out!

If the funds come from a legal and traceable source (in this case crowdsourced), the judge has no duty to block it from getting paid. This is assuming the judge isn't a lefty activist that just ignores the rules and procedures.

The likely reason for the higher bond is that he would almost certainly reoffend after being released back into the public. Crenshaw is highly suspected of killing one dude with whom he had a heated personal dispute. Crenshaw is not a known nuisance who routinely has physical altercations with random members of the public after calling them inflammatory names. Crenshaw, if allowed freedom during the interim between his trial and verdict/sentencing, is unlikely to reoffend, as there is no evidence indicating that he is a mentally ill retard itching to accost/assault random strangers for little to no reason. Believe it or not, Chud is a greater public safety risk than the gangbanging nigger. Judge did nothing wrong.
