I'm very interested to see how Chud's defense is going to take care of this, because. If he's going to argue that the attacker has no right no to attack Chud over the N-word, which in my opinion he should, I think he should also bring up the curtis culwell center attack-where Islamic terrorist attacked cartoonists with same mindset-as an example, to make the point that while, "free speech rights doesn't apply to private entities be it, Chud's attacker or the Islamic state, violence as a response to offensive or even hate speech as no place in a civilized society that values free speech.
If Chud does lose the case and self defense claim, I wouldn't be surprised we'd hear of a white guy shooting a black guy, over calling him the C-word, using all of the same justifications that black people are using for violent reactions to speech they dislike including Chud's.
