But seriously, there is no high trust society right now and there won't be unless the country isn't just whitey vs minorities. Having a majority-minority country makes democracy completely unworkable, because inevitably the democracy just becomes a racial census with votes going to each party based on how hard they pandered to each ethnic group. There is no shared goal all people are voting to try to work towards, it is just trying to advance their specific minority group. It also removes all nuance from politics, as if you have two parties that have two different ways of going about helping your countries main group, they are eventually forced to merge voter-bases together lest they be outvoted by the minority-representing party (to the extent voting isn't rigged at least).
