There is not a quality firearms instructor on Earth that will not tell you that pulling your gun in any situation involving physical force may put you in prison. If you are not meeting a threat with the proportionate level of response, you are going to face prison time in almost any jurisdiction. Some states, including the state of Tennessee where Chud lives, have a standard called "provoking the difficulty". If you actively provoke someone into attacking you, a legal defense invoking self-defense becomes much more difficult if not impossible to stage. Given the evidence that we have seen - to my knowledge a clear video of the incident has not yet been released - a prosecutor would not have a difficult time claiming that Chud was being deliberately provocative and intended for violence to be done upon him as an outcome.

Why the fuck is anyone defending a dude who went to court over refusing to pay a restaurant bill and ended up shooting someone else and himself in front of the courthouse? Isn't this the exact behavior you're claiming he's pointing out as an issue?

Not every brawl is a legal license to kill.


If the rule were “any fistfight lets you stab or shoot the other guy,” you’d quickly have predators roaming around deliberately starting trouble just so they could escalate to lethal force, then shrug and claim self-defense as their body count grew.


Stand Your Ground doesn’t mean “I reserve the right to kill you during a fight I helped start.”

Provocative speech is protected. The nigger's violent response is not. We obviously don't know all the facts and won't until the trial, but I think it's going to be one of those trials where the defendant is irrelevant but the circumstances of the case matter. Going forward, is it going to be legal for black people to enact violence on white people that say nigger? If the answer is yes, then how far does that go? Does it just excuse assault, or will is also excuse manslaughter/murder? Does the prosecution have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant says nigger, or does the assailant only have to believe at the moment of the assault that his victim was a racist? It just goes places you really don't want the justice system to go.

He's probably going to get destroyed, but you never know. I could really care less what happens to Chud. As I said before, he's unsophisticated white and might as well be a Slav. I'm more invested in the outcome of the legal clash between hate speech ideology, restorative justice, and the constantly diminishing right to defend yourself and your property. I wonder if they will speak at length about the fact he was doing this as a job. Provoking people. He was employed to antagonize and start fights. That will probably be a contributing factor as well when it comes to the jury.

As an enjoyer of the African American Appreciation thread, I find Dalton to be detestable because he acts just like a nigger would. Instead of “dey said da n wurd!!” It’s “muh free speech” but really I’m a bloodthirsty, low impulse, violent nigger, looking for a confrontation. Just when black fatigue was going mainstream lol. Also, it’s no surprise he’s orthodox, literally everyone I know that converted to orthodox Christianity is a recovering heroin addict that stole from their family and has illegitimate children.

I looked up the self-defense law of Tennessee, it has more or less the same conditions as non-cucked states: stand your ground, castle doctrine, no obligation to retreat, but requires an imminent threat of harm and proportionate response and that there is no justification if you provoke the other's use of unlawful force.

So yeah, he's almost certainly going to jail. The nigger committed assault, but his act of shooting him after calling him a nigger probably forfeited his right to self defense.

Provoking fights makes him an obnoxious faggot. Calling out nigger behavior in public makes him based. Neither of those things are crimes, nor are they direct and imminent threats to someone's safety. That, more or less, is the current legal standard to justify violence. Will that change? I hope not. A lot of major legal precedent is set from cases involving gigantic scumbags.

The median age of his jury pool is about 30. 64% is 18-64. 55% white, 22% black, 12% hispanic, then asian/other. College degrees are below the national average at around 30%. Median household income is about $70k with per capita income being $34k. Poverty rate is around 10%. Lots of skilled tradesmen and people that work on the military base. The county went Trump in 2024 to the tune of 58.5%.

It's a little more racially diverse than the rest of Tennessee, but it's also younger and still solid red. It's also the South, so there's a good chance the locals have laughed at a nigger joke once in their life. To be in the jury pool there, you have to be registered to vote, not be a felon, and have an active drivers license/state ID.

If a black guy attacked me and got shot in the process, the progs in my area would give me the chair. Especially if my post history and wanton use of racial slurs were used to besmirch my character. He definitely has a better shot than I would.

You are correct but consider that he isn't being tried because of his speech, he's being tried because he shot someone. Tennessee's self-defense law like many others states that you have no right to self-defense if you provoked the conflict. The idea behind self-defense is that you did not want violence and that you had no choice but to shoot them to prevent harm from coming to you. Yes the nigger is committing a crime in attacking him, no civilized person should respond to words with violence, but as the law stands, if you are deliberately seeking out violence through provocation, you are an instigator, not an innocent victim and you don't get to shoot people.

"Your honor, I wasn't being provocative when I shot that African-American gentleman! All I did was call him a nigger for my livestream!" isn't a very compelling argument.

It’s more like this dude was employed to go around downtown instigating problems. The cops continually told him to stop. He tweeted and spoke he would never stop until he shot a nigger dead.

Then went to a court house (because once again it’s his job to cause problems and he was resolving yet more legal trouble) and approached some black guy (by his own admission) started doing what he is self employed to do. He beat his ass and he shot the dude just like he said he would when he found the right one.

You’re making it look like he was defending himself.

Others might perceive it as him making good on a promise.

Derek Chauvin was convicted of murder after the "victim" died of a fentanyl overdose. A guy in Austin TX was convicted of murder by a jury of his peers for shooting a guy who pointed a loaded AK-47 at him and his family. Chud provoking/escalating/premeditating the situation aside, why would you willingly be the guinea pig to test the limits of our justice system? Spoiler alert: the pendulum isn't swinging in the direction you want. Save yourself the 30 years in prison.
