Imgur is a potentially underrated farm, Reddit is talked about all the time here, but a couple years ago it and this glorified image host were one in the same, before Reddit implemented it's own everybody used Imgur. It's basically Reddit Instagram and has been for several years. Thanks for reminding me it exists, plenty of horrible takes to be found.

It is being respawned after the loonies started to get kicked out of twitter and even reddit isn't as bipolar and accepting them everywhere as it was before
Significant shift in past year after trump got elected that every other post is either immigrants on gendertards
 
Is this like ironic or unironically insane takes? Because I have both and some that blur the lines between the two.

Imgur might actually be even worse than Reddit, if you can believe it. Reddit is famous for its NPCs and bots, but even in blatant propaganda threads they usually try (and fail) to seem intelligent, because they believe they're "the adults". Their superiority complex forces them to put on airs the way a 5 year old pretending to be royalty does. Sure, you still get plenty of posts like "Donald Trump has a poopy diaper right fellow empaths", but they make up the minority.

Imgur doesn't have this. It's very obviously a bunch of 14 year olds with an average IQ of 75 who have no idea what they're talking about. It's like if Club Penguin had a gas leak during a mandatory viewing of The Colbert Report. Their views are barely coherent, but nobody there notices because the most intelligent person who still hangs out there is at the high end of mentally retarded.

Here's a screenshot of the Imgur comments on a post about how Trump and Rubio are only US citizens because of birthright citizenship. It's not true, but that's kind of irrelevant.

Not a single original thought. Just a bunch of script reading. Whitey bad, Republicans bad, etc. Most of these comments could be under literally political post.
