This is some crazy lack of self awareness.

Did he discard the original audio, and add "ambient sounds" for the bar scene, with his own voice shouting over it?

I hope the Redcoat guy dpes another interview with the original actor...

Jason Johnson the actor behind the Cool Cat costume went on a podcast talking about his history with "Erik Garbage" and his falling out.

 
In my opinion Daddy Derek seems to act like in his mind Cool Cat should have been the next Toy Story and the fact reality clashes hard with his dreams is killing him inside and while is incredibly amusing seeing him milking a cow that never had any milk to begin with, I admit I'm giggling inside thinking there is an alternate timeline where people are excited to have Cool Cat in Kingdom Hearts 4.

This project just made me think he was trying to create the next Barney the Dinosaur. He even went as far as stating that his character is cooler than Barney. In this day and age, I just see no reason to do this, seeing how Barney was nothing but lovey-dubby unicorn shit that most modern kids can’t relate to.

I think it took him a few years until the fame he thought he’d get from his homemade movies got to him, especially with the whole Pewdiepie debacle, and tried to make it way more than what it was originally, a stupid kid’s show straight out of the late 80’s.

I'll say this for Derek: With Cool Cat he's at least sincere with what he does and tries to make Cool Cat a good role model for kids (a fact he somewhat succeeds when giving advice about finding a gun). Much like the Room and Plan 9 from Outerspace the problem is the execution.
 
The best thing from the recent interview with Jason Johnson on the Super Media Brothers podcast was a story about the original momma cat actor.
Basically, Jason went to her house which was super close to the location after filming bc he was super sweaty and gross, and had a shower there before he went home which was a few hours away.
Daddy Derek BURSTS IN HER FRONT DOOR COMPLETELY UNANNOUNCED AND UNINVITED because he thought that Jason and momma cat actor were having a secret relationship lmao
Derek had asked her out three times and she’d kept refusing, so that’s why he ended up firing her and having another momma cat actor
