Interesting to note is the response:

Which lead to a shocking twist:

I can't wait to see Derek's new crossover work, "Cool Cat Rapes the Kids." I heard the finale consists of Butch pumping Cool Cat full of lead using the techniques Derek taught him, which leads to Derek cradling his dead "son" in his arms while screaming at the heavens.

And then the movie ends with Cool Cat, Derek, Vivica A. Fox, and Eric Estrada talking about how it's not cool to rape people.

The Nostalgia Critic seems to hate Daddy Derek with all his might.
He keeps showing Derek as the face of everything that's wrong with big studios.
The closest that Derek has come to Hollywood is mowing Eric Estrada's lawn.

Even though Daddy Derek has a snowball's chance in Hell towards making it in Hollywood, he's also stupid enough to act as a face for YouTubers' frustrations with copyright.

Doug seems to have jumped on the bandwagon a little too late if you ask me. Though to be fair, Doug's probably asshurt that it isn't him doing the deed instead, trying to cover his tracks by saying "YOUTUBE AND THESE STUDIOS ARE SATAN!"

Derek is just some nut. What's with the butthurt?
Tard rage over not earning money, since these clowns make this their main jobs. The fans are just cripplingly autistic and scream at those they blame for their idol's problems.

There's a point in time, though I'm not completely sure when, where I think someone (maybe a misguided and coke-addicted fool from an extremely low-rent studio that normally specializes in infomercials) might've looked at Cool Cat and thought it was a good idea.

Somewhere between 1985 and 1995, I think. Certainly not twenty-fucking-fifteen.

I was just thinking the same thing! Cool Cat seems super 80s to me. Of course, Derek is so out-of-touch that he probably believes that children in 1985 have the same interests and likes as children in 2015.

To make it even more painfully 80s than it already is, there's a gratutious rap scene. And yes, it sucks unbelievably hard.

Ever since I saw Dereks webpage, I declared him to be the long lost "90's man" who got released into the world again far to soon. Everything he does seems like times long past, from the early internet. I just think he can't let the "good ol times" go.

Holy shit, yes. Like every children's movie from the 80s and 90s had a pointless rap scene. I'm surprised that Derek couldn't dredge up Vanilla Ice with his connections, he would have been perfect for Cool Cat. Plus, he's even more washed up than Vivica and Eric.

My personal guess is that Doug saw the "I'm gonna milk it" video and couldn't help but hating Derek (he's really annoying in that video).

But I agree completely: Derek is just one of those Hollywood wannabes, too old to "break in" and living in a house in the Valley that is about to foreclose any day.

Yes, probably the misguided and coke-addled producers of this:
