Yea but we don't know for sure, he might have put them in, for something as low budget as this I wouldn't put it past him to astro turf

No it doesn't. It doesn't especially help you learn Spanish and it all just comes off as creepy and weird. Props for trying to get more people to learn a second language early in life though.

Very likely. But he lived LA for at least some time. Linda Hopkins did some work for him. And looking at his promo stuff, he seems quite aggressiv and sucessful in geting people to pose with his books. They might have said something about Cool Cat to make him go away.

They could even be neighbors or something. It seems like Daddy Derek has some Money to burn after all.

I really just think he is the kind of guy to go up to people and start blabbering about how revolutionary Cool Cat is, stuffing a book in their hands and ending with "Can I take your picture to promote Cool Cat?" At that point, they will just do it, regardless of support or not.

Yea they may have wanted to do it as people thought that Derek Savage like Chris Chan was special, so for some sort of good PR they promoted it just to shut him up.

Then next thing you know Derek Savage finds this site and posts youtube videos claiming this site is a mecca of cyber bullying activities and has to be shut down.

this was so 1990s and was made in Canada, surprisingly no rule 34 was ever made of this.

It's amazing how powerful social norms are. I'm sure that we've all been in situations where you're talking to someone who's really weird or just keeps going on about shit you don't care about and yet you just nod politely and smile. Most people don't like being rude or hurting people's feelings, and even if you're an asshole who doesn't care about that stuff there are still social norms in place that say "be polite."

It's those norms that allow society to function without everything collapsing into chaos, but it also leads to things like well-known celebrities feeling forced into saying things like "Cool Cat is fun!" and "Cool Cat is a clever series!" because they don't want to hurt Derek Savage's feelings.

Good thing (at least I hope that's true). There's a MUCH LONGER version of this out there, appparently this was animated by a subsidiary of Nelvana!
