Cool Cat is played by Cool Cat that's played by Jason Johnson.

It's kind of a dick move to make someone wear a fursuit and act like an idiot over the course of several movies and then not acknowledge them.

Personally if I were in Jason's shoes, I think I'd want to go uncredited, or at least fifth billing like he did. Think about it; would you want "was Cool Cat" on your resume?

Also, one of the credits is just "Pointing Kid." :lol:

Why is Momma Cat is played by two different people, three if you include the voice?

Maybe Lisandra (or Jennifer, if the listing isn't in chronological order) just couldn't handle having to be Daddy Derek's lover.

Two different people wore the Cool Cat In Drag suit for the two times Mrs. Cool Cat appears on screen. Neither of those two suit actors had speaking roles, they only made gestures while a third actress dubbed over the footage at a later point. Some of Cool Cat's dialog is also dubbed in post.
 
Could all go back to the theory that the whole thing is a frankestein movie stiched together from the rotting remains of failed cool cat pilots.

Seriously, can someone make a gif of that? It's the best part in the entire movie. Just imagining that poor guy walking out of his house only to see a man in a badly-made orange fursuit yelling at some children while his neighbor films it is enough to reduce me to hysterical laughter. I think we would all react the exact same way.

Also, this is one of the highest-rated comments on the first part of YMS's review:

The main difference though is that Derek has more successful merchandise.

Unless said role was something besides being in a cringeworthy PSA about bullying, no one would want their name listed.

Perhaps Daddy Derek should try asking some military vets to star in the next Cool Cat film about the troops.

This is random, but I love how graffiti gets its own special mention. The graffiti subplot is like 4 minutes long.
