Daddy Derek's too cheap to record voice clips and insert them afterwards.
Even then, Cool Cat's voice is so fucking stupid. It's one of the most stereotypical cool guy in a fursuit voices I've heard. I also like how sometimes it sounds like a bad impression of a Rick & Morty character.

Posts like the latter are why I'm hoping that posts like the former will be wrong. As douchey as Savage's behavior with the takedown drama has been, I'm holding out hope that maybe Adam's calm and measured explanation of fair-use will bring the old doofus around because I can't help but feel that deep down inside he's a nice guy that's just horribly inept at most things that he tries to advocate for. The way he talks to cool cat in the movie is the way I imagine he talks to people in real life. Nice, if a bit desperately so, maybe a bit goofy or off-putting, but nothing particularly worthy of scorn. I remember being almost impressed by the fact that he'd changed some of the more obvious mistakes in the movie after watching YMS' review. I thought, and would still like to think, that Daddy Derek's one of those guys whose heart is in the right place, just no one's quite sure where the fuck his brain's at.

And that just it, I'd love to think that too. But at the same time, he may just get even more upset that his one "Ally" is trying to tell him how the law works.

Either way, I'd love to see where this goes.

I think his feelings get really hurt when people make fun or insult him as a person.
YMS more or less just made fun of cool cat whereas IHE jokingly called Derek himself a repressed pedophile.
and some of the other reviews he took down kind of made the same joke directed at Derek too.
I doubt it was because of ihateeverything's username because he was fine with the yourmoviesucks review.
I think he watched the IHE review and went full "I came here to have a good time and am honestly feeling so attacked right now"
 
I laughed, I cried, I saw porn of Tony the Tiger fucking Cool Cat.

All in all an excellent movie night.
