With nothing more than a username on kiwifarms, I can convince the CIA to find out who you are and make you disappear. Get on my level.

Yes SE is possible and yes it can be done, but no I don't think you or anyone else is going to get very far with nothing but an IP address. You'll have better luck penetrating their databases.

Agreed. I'm certainly not going to get that kind of information without devoting a lot of time to it, and there would be a lot easier ways of doing it for the kind of people who specialize in it. I just wouldn't bet on maintaining much security against someone determined who has my IP address.

And of course, there's always the lawfare route, as someone that determined to out someone likely has some beef with them that can be dressed up as a lawsuit. Some cows can be quite litigious, although most are bigger on empty threats.

Considering Laurelai has now basically promised to spend hundreds of hours on the forum to compile dossiers on people, I'm featuring this thread again.

yes, russian super hackers will dox you to the point they have your blood type and know what hand you write with

Not funny, my brother died that way after Russians doxed him and then fed him polonium-210 in his chicken tendies.

The advice to never use the same name is good but definitely make sure they don't connect. When I'm searching for people each time I find a new name its like finding a new track because it usually leads me further and further back into their history.
I also like using generic usernames that yield lots of Google results. Googling ILoveSonichu1991 is really easy. Googling "cat" or "jews" isn't as easy.

Luckily, only the US and possibly central Europe and Sweden care about keeping a SJ friendly work environment.

It's unlikely that doxxing Mutumbo Mugabe from Nairobi or Ion Antonescu from Chisinau would affect their daily lives.

On the other hand, John McCuck and Fritz Kukken should beware.

I actually agree. I don't think it hurts to be a little paranoid. But realistically I don't see much that could happen, I don't see how very many employers would be willing to dig through pages of shitposting on here unless they just found it really amusing.

I dunno I just learned about tor and someone told me.
"Don't travel kiwi farms unequipped. It's dangerous out there. Here take this!"

That person was an idiot. You won't get doxed from going here without tor and if you do get doxed it won't harm you unless you are already a cow
