I admit I barely interact with her, so no, not really.

The furry community on Tumblr is big into being unabashed of their being furry fucks, and also very self-depreciating. They also tend to shitpost a lot so there's a level of Tumblr irony thrown into the mix. I think she talks the furry stuff up because she's pandering to the furries that follow her, since furries can overlook a lot of unsavory behavior from an artist if they draw porn to their satisfaction. It's why people like Jay Naylor are tolerated in the fandom at all. Furries are probably the most susceptible to the Geek Social Fallacies than any other nerd group, and by furry standards, Cuteo is pretty inoffensive when you have thieves, conmen, rapists, pedos and literal dogfuckers that have been sheltered by the fandom.

Honestly, I have no issue with furries, so long as they aren't super aggressive about it. My issue with the fandom in practice is that they become the internet equivalent of vultures. You need only look for where they congregate to find some seriously fucked up shit.

I only mentioned it a few pages back because Cuteo went off on someone making a "now can we accept furries and bronies" joke and took it completely seriously but only brought up the latter. It's just weird seeing her comment on safety and things but then joke about R34 of furry cartoon characters.

Probably because theres been sort of a "thing" lately where people are getting overly pissed at people who draw or otherwise refer to dickgirls, futanari or hermpahrodites, because that is somehow "fetishizing" trans people and intersex people, when none of those have anything to do with those types of kinks.

I think it's because bacon worship is a bit of a nerd stereotype, since there are a ton of novelty products that are bacon-scented or bacon-flavored, and a lot of them are aimed at nerds.
