Meh, they'll have hopped on the next bandwagon within a year probably.
I just wish they'd quit latching onto things to use them as vehicles for social justice. Ironically, people like Dragondicks do a lot more to make fandoms an unsafe place for kids than bronies and neckbeards ever have.

I can count six distinct pieces of children's media they've done this shit to in the last four years or so. It's sad.

Don't they hate Uncle Grandpa?

Like they'll hate Steven Universe if the show offends them, either inadvertently by not giving a shit about their creepy SJW obsessions, or by deliberately pissing them off, as I suspect they might be doing. The second "man in dress" joke could have been a sort of fuck you to the whining about the first one in the Uncle Grandpa crossover. But it could have been just completely ignoring it.

"Problematic" is when something doesn't perfectly fit your values. As soon as SU becomes problematic in the right person's eyes, they'll make a post & it will spread & there goes the neighborhood.

What's awful about tumblr's climate is that most who are using it take th posts as fact. Then in real life, they will cite tumblr posts as fact.

"Why don't you like SU any more? You forced me to watch a whole season!"
"The creators are problematic, and we're intentionally queerbating :(, and hate their fans :'("
"Huh? What? Where'd you read that?"
"I don't remember. I just remember it being all over for a while"

I understand their thought there, like if all the people they are following reblog something they can't all be wrong.... But, the whole following system puts you in a bubble and you only hear what's being told to you & can't see the whole picture.

TDLR: I remember there was a big drop in viewership/creation in MLP related blogs because they were ashamed of being associated with the drama caused by DD and Pinkie, it got way too big way to quick. The moderates left as soon as possible, leaving the crazies on both sides.
I imagine there will be the same sort of thing with SU... they just need a spokesman & circulate their opinions, before the moderates decide that it isn't worth the drama & stop blogging/watching the show.

Unfortunately, cuteo tends to be that spokesperson. All it takes is her reblogging one five note post about how one person was offended by the way X artist drew a certain character/people talking in the "wrong" way about something and all of her followers dogpile on them. It has happened many times before.

Based on some of the comments they've made, I kind of get the impression that the Steven Universe staff is starting to hate their fandom, and I can't really say I blame them.
source? That one comment is the only thing I've seen of that.
a matter of fact they seem to mostly pander and kiss up to the fans

They do pander and kiss up to fans, even worse then MLP does.but you can't scroll down your dashboard without seeing SU drama at-least once a week. It usually has to do with people apparently culture shrouding Garnet's black ancestry, despite her being an alien gemstone from space.

On another subject, Tumblr suggested I follow Cuteosphere at one point, and I did because I liked the art, I un-followed a few weeks later because I got really tired of the constant sjw grumbling.

This reminds me of that whole x-kit rape allegation, where someone sent a anonymous message to someone else saying "The x-kit guy raped my friend" or something along the lines of that. It then lead to call-out posts with absolutely no sources saying to stop using x-kit.

It wasn't even rape he was accused of. He was accused of being a "sexual predator," and the original story (told secondhand with no sources, of course) claimed that he had been acting creepy towards a lady at a convention. That's it.

I like when the staff doesn't bow to their fandom's every whim, but I fear it won't last.

And that's when fandoms go from bad to worse. The SU fandom are basically like bronies, but more female-dominated and SJW-ish.

The SU fandom kind of ignored that the staff of the show said that they joke about/draw sex-related stuff all the time and have no problems with it because it destroyed their "my pure lesbian space progressives cartoon" headcanon.

Honestly, I blame the Steven Universe stuff on its creator, Rebecca Sugar. She's too pandering. Hell, she falls right in line with alot of these tumblr sjw fucks to begin with. Alex Hirsch, the creator of Gravity Falls, on the otherhand gives no fucks and has actively said he wants to crush fan's headcanons.

It's pretty well known SU has the worst fanbase known to mankind. /sug/ is pretty much the only tame place. Which is funny. Cuz it's 4chan.

They love Rebecca Sugar because she used to draw gay cartoon porn in the past as well.

"See? You can draw Edd and Eddie getting it on and still get pretty far in the industry!"

Even on 4chan /sug/ is pretty bad about staying in their own threads. It's sad that they're the only decently tolerable fans.

Underage gay cartoon porn, mind you. People constantly try to defend it by saying it was years ago but it doesn't make it not disgusting.

Okay, before this goes too off-topic, someone needs to make a thread for the Steven Universe fandom. They're a herd of lolcows.
We already had a thread on them but iirc, it was locked due to veering off-topic territory or as @Gensdupays said, trollshielding. Can't remember much details but that had to be the jist of it.

On the subject of DragonDicks, I honestly do wish I noticed this thread sooner so as to share something but I feel it has all been said though wasn't it mentioned in another post on another thread that she thinks working only furthers the patriarchy and that she lived on welfare?

Edit:
I was able to look at it just fine.

NGL I kind of dig the shirt, even if it's not the proper Three Wolf Moon.
Apologies if I sound dumb or A-Log but she looks like a guy. Like @AnOminous said, she looks like ADF.
