I remember once when I was a child in Hawaii on a coral beach I contacted a brightly colored nudibranch and absolutely freaked out when it moved.

It was one of these striking slugs, and I thought it was beautiful, so I touched it and it moved like a slug, and at the time, I had a phobia of slugs, and completely freaked out and ran screaming back out of the water.

Also it wasn't these colors, but it was in this pattern of one color on the outside with a couple patches on the inside. It was like red and orange and yellow. It was a really pretty slug. I'm glad I didn't harm it in my panic.

I think it might have been one of these.

Oh I like small sharks too. Especially the Epaulette Shark, which can walk on land for short distances.
I like its name. When I buy coats I make a point of getting ones with epaulettes. Unfortunately the "epaulettes" on the fish are its two large black spots behind its eyes, looking nothing like epaulettes.
