Man. This happened to me when I was in the military, and the goddamned Navy doctor (not a Corpsman, but an actual MD) told me "change your socks" and left it at that.

Now I learn it could have been cured with some benzoyl peroxide? FFS that shit took six months to go away on its own.

At subjects like this I wonder if the other kiwis with dermatillomania are feeling as itchy as I am.
