This had already been done with the PS2 Eye Toy and I'm sure by other companies too. Even the gameboy had a camera accessory in the 90s.

lol at "not reinventing the wheel, getting rid of the wheel".

I just realized the Xbox 360 is what made me become disaffected with gaming after years of fanaticism.

Motion controls in general were a very low point in terms of video games, like mandatory 3D was before it. Loot boxes are the new obnoxious fad that's ruining the market now, so there's always something.
