How is that less scary?

It's actually pretty good, though most places near here don't do the mayo thing, just salted butter, chili pepper and a little cinnamon (no sugar) or some cheese. Sonoran Mexican street food is the best form of Mexican

That picture from earlier has way too much mayo (lol wypipo). I think it's supposed to be a thin layer at most.

When I lived in a Mexican neighborhood every little cart made them the same. Yellow field corn boiled in sugar because it's cheaper and not naturally sweet, a layer of squeeze margarine, a layer of Mayonessa (mayo with lime flavor), layer of queso fresco, and then the chili powder. Maybe a squeeze of lime. They would even take it off the cob and serve it in a bowl if you wanted. It was a buck fifty.

Yeah that looks like way too much mayo and cheese. A good elote just looks like corn on the cob with some cheese and cilantro on it--you can't even tell that there's mayo keeping the cotija on there. Nowadays people are making them "slathered", as the picture says, in mayo. The popular thing in my area is to cover them in ground Takis or Hot Cheetos. That's unnecessary.

The medical cabinett (with some ketchup) of Jim Jones, after the massacre.
A cute cat in the foreground that has seen some shit obviously.
